You will complete light assembly and finishing work on semi trailers as part of a small workshop team.
This is hands‐on work — not a heavy rebuild or prime‐mover engine role.
You will work as part of a small team and also need to be comfortable getting on with jobs on your own.Key responsibilitiesFitting ramps and related hardwareFitting hydraulic hoses and predeliver power packsFitting airlines as requiredDiagnosing and rectifying brake issuesLight touch‐up workOccasional weldingUsing a forklift to move parts, assemblies and trailers around the workshop/yardAbout youExperience with semi trailers or heavy vehicles / trucksComfortable working around heavy vehiclesForklift experience (LF ticket preferred)Practical mechanical fitting skills — hydraulics, airlines, brakes and general assemblyAble to work with others and independentlyReliable, safety‐minded and happy with workshop hours
