Nowra Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Emergency Department (ED) Liaison on a fixed-term, part-timebasis.The ED Liaison Nurse will act as a key clinical interface between the Emergency Department and Nowra Private Hospital, supporting:Effective communication between ED clinicians, bed management, VMOs, and inpatient teamsLiaise directly with Emergency Department teams regarding potential admissions or transfersCoordinate with bed management, Nurse Unit Managers, VMOs, and executive teamsFacilitate timely and accurate exchange of clinical information and documentationTimely identification of suitable patients for transfer or admissionSupport escalation and problem-solving in complex or time-critical situationsContribute to data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement of the serviceImproved patient experience and system flowAbout YouYour ability to have strong clinical judgement, advanced communication skills, and to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries will ensure your success in this role.You will also bring the following:Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRAMinimum 24 months recent experience in Emergency, Critical Care, or Acute Medical/Surgical nursingDemonstrated high-level clinical assessment and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesStrong understanding of patient flow, escalation,
