Previous laser cutting or CNC experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided to a candidate with the right attitude and mechanical aptitude.Working hoursMonday to Thursday: 6:00am–2:30pmFriday: 6:00am–12:00pmKey responsibilitiesSet up, operate and monitor laser cutting equipmentSelect, load and safely handle materialsRead basic workshop drawings and job specificationsUse measuring equipment to check dimensional accuracyInspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standardsPerform light sanding, finishing,



packing and dispatch dutiesComplete routine equipment checks and preventative maintenanceReport equipment, material or production issuesAssist in other production areas when requiredMaintain a clean, organised and safe work areaWork within Mastercut's ISO **** quality and ISO ***** safety systemAbout youWe are looking for someone who:Has laser cutting, CNC or manufacturing experience—preferred but not essentialCan read basic workshop drawings or is willing to learnHas solid attention to detail and a commitment to qualityIs safety-focused and comfortable working with machineryIs reliable, organised and able to manage daily prioritiesHas practical problem-solving skillsWorks well independently and as part of a teamBrings a positive, hands‐on attitude to the workplaceMust have unrestricted rights to work in AustraliaWhat we offerPermanent full-time employmentConsistent weekday hours – Early finish Fridays!
