Production Associates - Manufacturing - Somerton
Looking for a hands‐on role with greatMonday–Fridayhours?
We are currently seeking reliable and motivatedProduction Associatesto join a busy manufacturing and fulfilment environment inSomerton.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands‐on work, working as part of a team and seeing the finished product come together.
You don't need to have extensive manufacturing experience — we're looking for people with the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
What you'll be doing
You'll be involved across different areas of the production process, including:
Assisting production and fulfilment teams to keep daily operations running smoothly
Supporting sewing operators by distributing rugs and assisting with finishing tasks
Trimming and removing excess thread and completing final finishing work
Inspecting rugs for print defects and quality issues
Reworking products where required and sorting defective items
Organising rugs, materials and components ready for production and fulfilment
Assisting with moving and organising rugs throughout the production area
Checking components and building, rolling and packing rug systems for ecommerce orders
Completing quality checks before products are dispatched
Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe

What we're looking for

Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, hands‐on environment
Physically capable and happy to be on their feet throughout the day
Detail‐oriented and able to identify quality issues
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
A team player with a positive attitude
Willing to learn different areas of the production process
Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, sewing or similar experience is highly regarded but not essential
Physical requirements
This is a hands‐on production role, so you'll need to be comfortable with:
Standing and walking for the duration of the shift
Frequent bending, kneeling and stooping
Repetitive use of hands, fingers and wrists
Moving and handling materials throughout the production area
Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs (approximately 23kg) independently
Team lifting heavier items when required
What's on offer?
$***** per hour
Monday – Friday
7:00am – 3:00pm
No weekend work
