We're looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed‐term contract based at our Melbourne Head Office.This is a great chance to step into a high‐performing, supportive Finance function and gain experience in a large, fast‐paced organisation.As our Accounts Payable Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely processing of supplier invoices and payments across the AVC Group throughout this 6‐month contract period.What You'll Be DoingProcessing supplier invoices through our AP invoicing system and ERPTroubleshooting and resolving issues arising from the scan/capture systemPreparing regular supplier reconciliations,



particularly for high-volume vendorsResponding to queries and payment requests from internal and external stakeholdersPreparing EFT payment runs on a bi‐weekly basisSupporting the Accounts Payable Manager with ad‐hoc AP tasksWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or similar roleStrong understanding of AP systems, processes and high-volume processingAdvanced MS Excel skills and strong overall Microsoft Suite competencyHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skillsProven ability to meet deadlines and manage a busy inboxA proactive, positive attitude and confidence to make decisionsQualifications in Business, Commerce or Finance (desired but not essential)Why Join AVC?
