ready for weld-outReading weld symbols and cutting lists to ensure the correct weld type, size and sequenceManaging distortion control on larger fabrications during weld-outWorking from tacked-up assemblies with minimal supervisionMaintaining a clean, tidy and safe workshopTo be considered for this role:Ability to pass a practical weld test as part of the selection processConfident reading weld symbols and basic fabrication drawingsPhysically capable of sustained hands-on trade workBackground in structural steel welding is requiredOverhead crane, forklift, or dogging/rigging tickets highly regarded but not essential
