About the Role
Estia Health Bannockburn is a modern, welcoming aged care home located in the growing township of Bannockburn, just a short drive (approximately ***** minutes) from central Geelong.
The home offers a close-knit, community-focused environment with the convenience of nearby local amenities, while still being within easy reach of the broader Geelong region.
This is a permanent part time role Monday and Tuesday each week, working 8.30am to 4pm.
You'll be hugely important in making sure our home runs smoothly – an indispensable helper to our residential aged care manager and client services officer.
Usually, your day will involve:
Friendly customer service to everyone – whether in person, on the phone or over email
Managing the front desk, answering calls and managing emails
Be a leader to staff, helping them to grow
Welcoming visitors, volunteers, contractors to the home
Assisting with ordering supplies and staff uniforms
Keeping on top of paperwork – record keeping, filing etc
Showing off our home to future residents and their families
Supporting the office manager and residential aged care manager in their daily tasks




You'll be a people person and problem-solver, with high attention to detail.
You'll also have:
Proven experience in a fast-paced administration or front desk role, with a robust focus on customer service
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment
Strong computer literacy across multiple systems, with attention to detail in data entry and record management
Proactive, professional and approachable, with a "can-do" attitude and commitment to creating a positive visitor experience
