Austek Roads are currently seeking an Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer to fulfil a full-time position in the road construction industry based out of Arundle, Gold Coast.About UsAustek Roads are a rapid-growing asphalt and road maintenance company, servicing southeast Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and ACT.
Austek Roads completes asphalt and sealing works for a number of city councils and major civil construction companies.About the RoleAustek Roads requires the skills of an Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer, for accounts payable, receivable, some aspects of accounting function and administration duties.
This includes assisting the finance team to ensure financial functions, compliance and reporting are complete and accurate in a timely manner.

assisting management team in maintaining all the company's asset.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volume of customer and supplier invoices in a timely mannerReviewing invoices for accuracy and proper codingIdentify and resolve billing errors or discrepanciesMaintain credit applicationsMaintain supplier and customer databaseBank and Credit Card reconciliationsMonitor outstanding payments and contacting customers to request paymentProcess and reconcile Intercompany InvoicesReconciliation of supplier statements for end of monthReconciliation of supplier payments for end of monthVerify and check all invoices are docket matched and authorised by managementMaintain all company's plant and equipment register through MEX, TFO and excel spreadsheetMEX Employee setup, data entry and equipment initial setupRequirementsMYOB Experience RequiredPrevious experience in similar role.Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Basic business administration principals.Must currently reside in Australia.If this sounds like the job for you then please do not hesitate to apply.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
