Our mission is to empower people living with a disability to achieve their goals, maintain independence, and participate meaningfully in the community.About the RoleWe are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team on a casual basis.In this role, you will support NDIS participants with daily living activities, personal care, community access, and social participation.
You will play an important role in helping participants build independence, confidence, and quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding person-centred support to participants in their homes and in the communityAssisting with personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and hygiene supportSupporting participants with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and household dutiesAssisting with community access, appointments, shopping, social activities, and recreational outingsEncouraging independence,



choice, dignity, and community inclusionCommunicating effectively with participants, families, carers, and other support team membersMaintaining accurate progress notes and records in line with organisational requirementsFollowing care plans, behaviour support strategies, and workplace health and safety proceduresReporting incidents, hazards, or concerns promptly and professionallyAbout YouCertificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or equivalent qualification or willing to obtainCurrent First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtainCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtainWorking with Children Check, or willingness to obtainStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA caring, respectful, and skilled approachAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilityWhat We OfferAt QLD Disability Support & Tours, we value our team and are committed to creating a supportive and positive workplace.
