We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated Receptionist to become part of our locally owned and operated business.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys dealing with customers, being organised, keeping busy and working as part of a close-knit team.
You will be an important part of the day-to-day running of our showroom and will work closely with our Kitchens Manager and Administration team.We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in working, takes pride in what they do and is looking for a long-term position.
We value reliability, initiative, a positive attitude and someone who is willing to learn and grow with the business.About the RoleYou will be the first point of contact for our customers and visitors and will play an important role in keeping our showroom and office running smoothly.Your duties will include:Being the first point of contact for customers and visitorsAnswering phones and responding to customer enquiriesProviding friendly and professional customer serviceClient liaison and assisting with general enquiriesScheduling appointments and coordinating workflowAssisting with kitchen and cabinetry enquiriesMaintaining our job and workflow management systemAssisting clients with colour selectionsGeneral showroom and office dutiesSocial media and multimedia postingLearning about our cabinetry, kitchen and construction productsWhat We Are Looking ForPrevious MYOB experience – highly regardedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGood computer skills and confidence using Microsoft OfficeThe ability to learn new computer and job management systemsA friendly and professional telephone mannerExcellent attention to detailStrong organisation and time management skillsThe ability to work independently while also being part of the teamInitiative and a proactive approach to your workA strong work ethic and willingness to learnHonesty, reliability and a positive attitudeExperience is important, but attitude is just as important to us.If you are someone who turns up, gets the job done, takes initiative and wants to build a long-term future with a local business, we would love to hear from you.Please note: We are looking for genuine applicants who are reliable about working and looking for long-term employment.
