We are looking for Casual Cattery & Office Attendants to join our team and support the day-to-day running of our busy cattery.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards, thrives in a rapid-paced environment, and genuinely enjoys providing outstanding care to both cats and their owners.Key responsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service to clients and support a customer-focused cultureMaintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the catteryWork efficiently while managing multiple tasks and prioritiesFollow procedures accurately and consistentlyFeed cats according to their individual requirementsAdminister medication when requiredClean cat accommodation and general cattery areasAssist with light administration dutiesCommunicate professionally with clients and team membersAbout youSomeone who notices the little details and takes pride in doing things properlyExcellent communication, organisational and computer skillsAble to work independently and use initiative once trainedAvailability to work in a small team environment and calibrate withinPhysically fit and comfortable working in warmer and colder environmentsKnowledge of cat health, breeds and behaviourCurrent driver's licence and reliable transportWillingness to work at Tullamarine and Spotswood locations when requiredPrevious experience in a cattery, kennel or veterinary clinic is highly regardedAvailable to work weekends, public holidays and peak holiday periodsAvailability RequirementsThis role involves a mixture of morning shifts (9am–1pm) and afternoon shifts (3pm–6pm) across a 7-day rotating roster.Average hours are 6–10 hours per week initially, with the opportunity to increase to ***** hours in the future.As we operate 365 days a year, successful applicants must be available to work weekends, public holidays and peak holiday periods.
