This role is based in Geelong, VIC **** and is perfect for individuals seeking casual work with potential for increased hours and responsibilities.Key responsibilitiesPrepare, cook and assemble food items in accordance with our recipes, portion sizes and presentation standardsMaintain high levels of food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of ingredientsOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, ovens and other food preparation toolsWork collaboratively with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during service periodsKeep the kitchen clean and organised, including washing up, restocking supplies and maintaining work stationsFollow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations and food handling guidelinesRespond positively to feedback and contribute to continuous improvement in kitchen operationsAssist with stock rotation and basic inventory management as requiredWhat we're looking forEnthusiasm and passion for working in a fast-paced hospitality environmentAbility to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standardsStrong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work collaborativelyBasic food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain relevant certifications (such as Food Handling or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift items and work in a warm kitchen environmentReliable, punctual and flexible approach to casual shift work, including potential weekend and evening availabilityPositive attitude, energy and commitment to excellent customer servicePrevious hospitality or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential; training will be providedWhat we offerJoin our team and enjoy a range of benefits and opportunities.
