This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of inventory accuracy, enjoys solving stock issues and is looking for reliable, long-term employment with consistent hours.Key responsibilitiesMonitor incoming and outgoing stock and maintain accurate system and physical inventory recordsInvestigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptlyConduct regular cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory auditsIdentify missing, damaged, incorrectly located or incorrectly recorded stockMonitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment when stock reaches reorder pointsAssist with purchase orders and liaise with relevant suppliers and internal teamsMaintain appropriate stock levels to minimise shortages,



excess inventory and storage costsSupport warehouse operations and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure inventory procedures and workplace safety requirements are followedWhat we're looking forPrevious inventory control experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentSound knowledge of warehouse management systemsExperience with Manhattan WMS is highly regardedStrong attention to detail and confidence investigating discrepanciesGood computer, numerical and record-keeping skillsReliable, punctual and able to work independentlyClear communication and a cooperative, team-focused attitudeAbility to safely perform the physical requirements of a warehouse roleLF forklift licence is advantageous but not essentialOwn reliable vehicle and transport, as the shift begins at 5:00 amWillingness to complete a National Police CheckWillingness to participate in random onsite drug and alcohol testingUnrestricted Australian working rights-student and working holiday visa holders cannot be considered for this positionWhy apply?
