As our business continues to evolve, we are seeking an experienced and motivatedAccounts Payable Officerto join our Perth CBD Head Office team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive AP professional who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a role in supporting a growing ASX-listed mining company.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced AP professional who is comfortable working within a developing environment where many processes remain manual.
Success in the role will require strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage a large and varied workload while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute beyond transactional processing and become an integral part of a team supporting the growth of Forrestania Resources.
Key Responsibilities
Processing a high volume of invoices across multiple operations and cost centres
Managing AP workflows in a largely manual processing environment
End-to-end accounts payable processing
Maintaining accuracy and efficiency during periods of high transaction volume
Matching invoices to approved purchase orders
Supplier onboarding and account maintenance
Vendor statement reconciliations and issue resolution
Employee expense claims and corporate credit card reconciliations
Preparation and processing of payment runs
Bank reconciliations




Assistance with cash flow forecasting and reporting
Maintaining accurate AP records and documentation
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
About You
You are an experienced Accounts Payable professional who takes pride in accuracy, organisation and customer service.
You are confident working autonomously, possess strong attention to detail, and enjoy helping build efficient finance processes within a growing business.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 year's experience in an Accounts Payable role
Solid experience working within ERP systems, ideallyPronto
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong understanding of accounts payable controls and best practice
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage workload independently
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience within mining, resources, construction or a related industry will be highly regarded
