Join this large governemt body undergoing a major technology transformation and establish its security operations capability as it transitions to a new Azure environment.
This is an prospect to make a lasting impact, putting the tools, processes and governance in place to strengthen cyber resilience and support future growth.
What you'll do
Establish security operations processes, monitoring, threat detection and incident response capabilities.
Drive operational adoption of Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Purview and Azure security services.
Define responsibilities, escalation pathways and service coordination across internal teams and managed service providers.
Support secure transition into production, developing playbooks, reporting and sustainable operating practices.




Lead incident coordination and continuous improvement.
Skills and experience
Experience as a Security Operations Lead, SOC Manager, Cyber Defence Lead, Incident Response Lead or similar.
A track record of building or maturing security operations capabilities in complex enterprise environments.
PracticalAzure experienceand strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies.
Confidence leading incident response and working across technical teams, delivery partners and senior stakeholders.
Familiarity withVPDSF and Essential Eightframeworks is highly regarded.
