We are currently seeking a Field Technician to join an exploration team on a mining project in Far North Queensland.This is a hands‐on field-based role supporting geologists and drilling teams across RC and diamond drilling programs.
The role would suit someone with previous field assistant, exploration or mining experience who is comfortable working remotely and as part of a small team.Key responsibilities:Provide field support to geologists across RC and diamond drilling programsAssist with logging, sampling and processing of drill samplesCollect, photograph, cut and correctly store diamond drill coreMark out and pick up drill holes, access tracks and other field locationsAssist with drill-site and access-track rehabilitationComplete accurate data entry and sampling recordsSupport drilling crews with consumables and general site requirementsCarry out basic maintenance of vehicles, pumps, plant and camp facilitiesMaintain vehicles, equipment and camp areas to a high standardFollow all site safety, environmental and operational proceduresAbout you:Previous experience as a Field Assistant,
