Position Title: Full time Disability Support Carer

Key Responsibilities




Supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily routinesPreparing and serving meals for clientsAssisting clients with movement and mobility needsOrganizing and encouraging participation in social activitiesCarrying out household duties, including cleaning and vacuumingProviding assistance with personal care, hygiene, and dressingAssisting with shopping and completing everyday errandsOffering companionship, emotional support, and building positive relationships
Skill & Experience
Minimum of a Certificate III in Individual Support or DisabilityA minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in disability support or care servicesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCompassionate and patient approach with the ability to build positive relationships with clientsExcellent attention to detail and strong observational skillsAbility to work independently and remain calm in challenging situations
