An exciting opportunity for an Emerging Textile Designer (22 hours per week)is now available at our Brunswick, Melbourne office.
What will you do?
A typical day will include:
Creating Mood BoardsDesigning concepts for multi-level ranges, including all aspects of the customers' requirementsTrend forecastingSpecification set upSample and library managementCreating showroom experiencesLiaising with overseas factoriesLearning qualities and productionWorking with all stakeholdersPresenting product, design and colour direction both internal and external customersMarket research
ABOUT YOU




The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Textile Design or Graphic Design, be creative, think outside the square and make things look great!
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopCreative and an exceptional eye for design and detailStrong drawing and illustration skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, changing environmentHave a "can do" attitudeLove working collaboratively with a teamYou are punctual and proactive, with an ability to coordinate and prioritise
