We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team for a rapid-paced, hands‐on position that will give you the chance to manufacture spaceflight hardware!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the manufacture of a variety of components and sub-assemblies for Valiant Space's propulsion systems,



including for flight hardware and ground testing equipment.ResponsibilitiesCNC programming of HAAS Lathe and Milling MachinesCommunicate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of partsInterpret drawings and CAD models and devise manufacturing processes and setupsAssemble components and sub-assembliesBoth prototyping and production machiningMaintain manfuacturing equipment to a high standardMinimum Qualifications, Skills, and ExperienceTrade qualified or demonstration of significant machining experienceProficient with Autodesk Fusion360Experience with both milling machines and lathesGood understanding of fundamental engineering conceptsExcellent communication and time management skillsExcellent attention to detailProficiency with a wide range of tools and measurement equipmentDesired Qualifications, Skills, and ExperienceUp to 3-5 years of machining experience with mechanical engineering design/testing.Experience with pressure vessel and/or pressure component manufacturingExperience with machining a variety of materials/alloys (Ti-6Al-4V, Inconel, etc.)Experience in aerospace or other precision manufacturing industry.
