This is a busy, varied front-of-house role in our Brendale kitchen showroom.
You'll be greeting customers as they walk in, managing our kitchen sales inbox, following up leads by phone to book in-home appointments, and supporting the sales team with quoting and customer correspondence.
There's a real sales element to the role — you'll be engaging with customers, answering their questions, and helping move enquiries forward.
The showroom is active and the team is fast-paced, so the ability to stay organised and switched on across multiple tasks at once is essential.
For the right person, this role offers a genuine pathway into a full Kitchen Cabinetry Sales Consultant position within the department.Key responsibilitiesGreeting customers as they enter the showroom, answering their initial questions,



and booking in-home appointments for our kitchen designersMonitoring and managing the main kitchen sales email inboxFollowing up online leads to book customers into in-home appointmentsTyping up and formatting quotes from consultant-prepared notes and designsSupporting consultants with some quoting directly from completed designsProviding informed, attentive customer service to showroom visitorsGeneral showroom administration — records, correspondence, and keeping things running smoothlyAbout youWarm, skilled manner — you're often the first impression customers get of BDWConfident and comfortable on the phone — following up leads and booking appointments is a key part of the roleStrong attention to detail — quotes need to be accurate and well-presentedGood written communication — you'll be managing a busy inbox on behalf of the teamAbility to multi-task and stay organised in an active, interruption-driven environmentComfortable learning new software — we use quoting, CRM, and design tools (full training provided)Experience in reception, administration, or customer serviceAbout usBuilders Discount Warehouse has been serving Brisbane homeowners and trade professionals for years, with showrooms at Brendale, Slacks Creek, and Arundel.
