Quality Resort Parkhurst is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.
This is a hands-on supervisory position suited to someone who has previous housekeeping supervisory experience and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest satisfaction.
You will work closely with the Property Manager and Housekeeping team to ensure our rooms and public areas are consistently presented to a high standard.
About the Role
As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operation while remaining actively involved in cleaning rooms and supporting the housekeeping team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising and supporting the housekeeping team on a daily basisPersonally cleaning and servicing guest rooms when requiredEnsuring rooms are cleaned and presented to the required standardConducting room inspections and addressing any areas requiring attentionEnsuring housekeeping procedures and standards are consistently followedAllocating daily tasks and assisting with workflow and prioritiesMonitoring linen, cleaning products and housekeeping suppliesReporting maintenance issues, damage or other concerns to the Property ManagerTraining and supporting housekeeping staff to achieve consistent standardsEnsuring guest requests and housekeeping-related issues are dealt with promptlyMaintaining a clean,



safe and organised housekeeping environmentWorking with the Property Manager to continually improve housekeeping standards and efficiency
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous housekeeping supervisory experienceIs well presented and maintains a professional appearance at all timesHas excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanlinessIs comfortable working in a hands-on role and leading by exampleCan confidently supervise, motivate and support a small teamHas good organisational and time-management skillsIs reliable, punctual and takes pride in their workHas a positive and professional attitudeCan work independently and make decisions when requiredUnderstands the importance of maintaining room presentation and guest satisfactionIs flexible and willing to work weekends as required
The Position
This is a casual position working approximately 5 days per week, with weekend availability required as necessary.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Property Manager and will play an significant role in ensuring the property maintains consistently high housekeeping standards.
This is not a purely supervisory role - you will be expected to remain hands-on and actively clean rooms alongside the team.
