Finished before your day really begins.While most people are still asleep, a small team is already out in open paddocks preparing hot air balloons for flight.
It's calm, outdoors, and different every morning.
You're part of a ground crew helping launch and recover balloons across the Ipswich region.We are currently looking for 1–2 Casual Driver & Balloon Ground Support Crew members.This is hands‐on, early morning work (around 4–6am starts, finishing mid‐morning).
Shifts are typically 3–4 hours,



3–4 days per week depending on weather and flights.What you'll be doing:Driving MANUAL 4WD vehicles with long trailersAssisting with balloon setup, inflation, pack-down and recoverySupporting passengers and working with a small operational teamHelping ensure secure and smooth flight operationsWhat we're looking for:MANUAL driver's licence (essential)Comfortable driving 4WD and towing a trailerPhysically capable and reliableAble to follow procedures and work independently once trainedGood communication and awareness on the groundAbility to meet aviation safety requirements (Drug & Alcohol DAMP compliance) and early morning fatigue requirementsBased in Ipswich.
