This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced freight and logistics environment.
You will need significant, recent forklift operating experience, strong attention to safety and the ability to handle wide-ranging freight accurately and efficiently.
The position will commence on a casual basis, working full-time hours, with warehouse operating hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.Key responsibilitiesLoading and unloading trucks carrying loose and palletised cargoManoeuvring loose cargo on pallets safely through a busy warehouseDouble-stacking metal freight cages, carefully aligning connecting pins to ensure cages are securely and safely stackedSupporting forklift operations across freight and third-party logistics (3PL) divisionsScanning, sorting and moving freight, including manual handlingCompleting forklift pre-start checks and maintaining a safe,
