you will be responsible for the safe transportation of heavy mobile equipment using specialised float trailers and heavy haul trucks.Your responsibilities will include:Transporting oversized and heavy equipment to and from project sitesLoading, securing and unloading machinery in accordance with transport regulations and company proceduresConducting pre-start inspections and ensuring vehicles remain roadworthyCompleting required transport documentationPlanning safe transport routes and complying with permit requirements where applicableMaintaining compliance with state and federal road transport legislationWorking closely with site personnel to coordinate equipment movementsMaintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safetyAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Current MC Driver LicenceProven experience operating heavy haul trucks and float trailersDemonstrated experience transporting oversized loadsPrevious experience within the construction, civil or mining industriesSound knowledge of state and federal transport regulationsCurrent White Card (Construction Induction Card)Strong commitment to safety and attention to detailExcellent communication and organisational skillsHighly RegardedThe following will be highly advantageous:Experience operating earthmoving or mobile plantRelevant machinery tickets to assist with loading and unloading equipmentDogging, Rigging or Forklift LicenceBasic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipmentWhy Join AAMG?
