About Your Role
As a Lifestyle Assistant at St Pauls, you will design and deliver engaging individual and group activities to support residents' emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Planning and facilitating lifestyle programs tailored to individual resident needsSupporting new residents as they transition and settle into the homeDocumenting participation and outcomes of lifestyle activities accurately and in a timely mannerAdvocating for residents and addressing any concerns or requests with care and professionalismMaintaining compliance with aged care quality standards and organisational policiesAssisting with the evaluation of residents' wellbeing and providing relevant updates to nursing staffContributing to protected, respectful, and enjoyable living environments for all residents
What You'll Bring
Essential
Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)Current First Aid CertificateValid Driver's LicenceSound understanding of aged care related issues and person-centred care principlesStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleaguesDemonstrated ability to work respectfully and collaboratively within a diverse, team-based settingCertificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle, Certificate III in Aged Care, or an equivalent qualification

Italian language skills (advantageous, though not essential)
