This can either be a full-time, part-time or casual position, offering flexibility whilst providing meaningful work in early childhood education.
As a Child Care Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting children's development, wellbeing and learning outcomes.
You will work collaboratively with our permanent team to deliver high-quality childcare and educational programming across our center.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families.Key responsibilitiesProvide safe, supportive care and supervision for children in accordance with center policies and relevant legislationCreate and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social and cognitive developmentMaintain a clean, hygienic and stimulating learning environment that meets health and safety standardsBuild positive relationships with children and families, fostering communication and trustAssist with routine care activities including feeding,



toileting and rest time managementObserve and document children's learning and development progressWork collaboratively with other educators to ensure consistent quality care and programmingSupport behaviour guidance and positive discipline strategies aligned with centre philosophyMaintain confidentiality and follow centre policies and proceduresRespond to casual shifts as required to support centre operationsWhat we're looking forCurrent recognised Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) qualification or equivalent (Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher)Current First Aid and CPR certification relevant to early childhoodWorking with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one prior to commencementDemonstrated experience working with children in an early learning or educational settingStrong understanding of child development and age-appropriate programmingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, families and colleaguesAbility to remain calm and respond appropriately to challenging situationsCommitment to continuous professional development and reflecting on practiceFlexibility and reliability in work arrangementsPassion for supporting children's learning, play and wellbeingWhat we offerCasual, Full-time or Part-time employment with adaptable shift arrangements to suit your availabilityWork in a supportive, collaborative team environmentAccess to professional development and training opportunitiesA welcoming, inclusive workplace cultureCompetitive, above award rates of payECEC Workers Retention GrantThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning and development
