part time 50 hours/fortnight.The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-workerAs our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.
You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
About this work areaAs an IKEA Cook Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organisedFood preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.As an IKEA Cook Co-worker you have:Experienced with working in an extremely fast paced, hands-on environment.Previous hospitality experience is highly regarded.Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.We need people like youAt IKEA, work is so much more than a job.
