The Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Town Planning, this position isresponsible for the assessment of Development Applications and associatedcustomer service functions, assists the Local Planning Panel in theirconsideration of Development Applications and provision of expert evidence inthe Land and Environment Court of NSW.

You will demonstrate a strong commitment to customerexcellence with your interpersonal and negotiation skills and work with thecommunity with strong written and verbal communication while handling yourworkload with outstanding time management.
You will positively contribute tothe team culture and help achieve success through positivelycontributingtowardsbusiness improvements.
Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or arelated discipline
Relevant experience in the assessment ofdevelopment applications
Comprehensive knowledge of theEnvironmentPlanning& Assessment Act **** and Local Government Act **** andassociatedlegislationand regulations as they relate to development assessment
Experience with complex and/orcontentiousdevelopmentsis desirable
The right to live and workin Australia
Class C Drivers Licence
WHS General ConstructionWork in NSW
Working with ChildrenCheck (WWCC)
Successfulapplicantswill be required to undergo background (police) checks and medicaldeclaration
