Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne is a busy boutique style upscale hotel of 160 rooms with a dedicated conference floor boasting 7 conference rooms in the Melbourne CBD.
Our team members are dedicated and passionate and we have an exciting chance for a casualFood & Beverage Attendantto join our team.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, the Food & Beverage Attendant will support the efficient day to day operations of our Food & Beverage outlets.
The successful individual will be passionate about providing a warm, welcoming and professional guest service.
You will be required to provide efficient food and beverage service whilst maintaining a high standard of presentation and following all company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities for the role include:
Provide friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage service
Undertake general waiting duties including serving food and beverages and clearing tables
Assist with the responsible service and sale of liquor
Greet and seat guests and assist with reservations
Provide room service and delivery duties as required
Accurately process guest payments and follow all cashiering procedures
Assist with the day to day operation of the Food & Beverage department




Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and grooming
Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
Work closely with other Food & Beverage personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
Report any unsafe practices or situations to the manager on duty
Any other ad hoc responsibilities as required

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
Victorian Food Handlers Certificate is highly regarded
This role is offered on acasual basisand your availability to work a7-day rotating rosteris required, this includes days, weekends and public holidays.
