Medical Receptionist - Specialist Medical ClinicRemedy Plus Medical Clinics - Chatswood NSWRemedy Plus Medical Clinics is seeking an experienced and capable Medical Receptionist to join our small specialist medical practice in Chatswood.This is not simply a meet-and-greet reception role.
You will take responsibility for the front desk, manage patient enquiries confidently, follow up prospective patients and help keep the clinic running smoothly.
A substantial part of the role involves following up prospective patient enquiries, explaining our services clearly and helping people make an appropriate booking.The role will initially be for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
You will work directly with the doctor, with our existing nurse also working in the clinic every second Wednesday.We operate several specialised services including skin cancer medicine, ear microsuction, pelvic floor treatment, medical laser and cosmetic medicine.Key responsibilitiesAnswering telephone, email and patient enquiriesFollowing up prospective patient enquiries and leadsExplaining our services,



appointment options and fees clearly and confidentlyHelping patients identify the most appropriate service or appointmentConverting enquiries into bookings where appropriateBooking and managing appointmentsPatient check-in and check-outProcessing payments and Medicare claimsManaging appointment confirmations and changesLiaising directly with the doctor regarding patient and appointment issuesAbout youExperience with a medical practice management system is essentialExperience using PracSuite would be a significant advantagePrevious experience working as a medical receptionistStrong experience with another medical PMS such as Best Practice, MedicalDirector, Genie or Zedmed will also be consideredStrong customer service or enquiry-follow-up experience would be highly regardedExcellent telephone manner and patient communication skillsConfident and comfortable following up prospective patients by phoneStrong attention to detailConfidence managing a busy appointment bookExperience with Medicare billing and claimingAbout usRemedy Plus Medical Clinics is a small specialist medical practice in Chatswood.
