Due to continued growth, Commlec Services is looking for a motivated 4th Year Apprentice Electrician who wants to complete their apprenticeship while building a long-term career across commercial, sports lighting and infrastructure projects throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Commlec Services is a solutions-based Electrical and Communications Contractor based in Mount Waverley.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service across commercial, local government, recreation and infrastructure projects.
Our team specialises in sports and public lighting, electrical maintenance, infrastructure works and electrical upgrades.
About the Role
You'll work alongside experienced A Grade Electricians across our Projects and Service & Maintenance teams, gaining exposure to a broad range of electrical work while completing the final stage of your apprenticeship.
Some of the work you could be involved in includes:
Sportsground and pathway lighting installations and maintenanceCommercial electrical installationsUnderground electrical infrastructure and cable haulingSwitchboard replacements and upgradesLED and energy-efficiency upgradesReactive and preventative electrical maintenanceTesting, fault finding and commissioning
About You
We're looking for someone who:




Is currently completing the 4th year of their Electrical ApprenticeshipHas strong electrical knowledge and is up to date with trade schoolingHolds a current Victorian Driver LicenceHolds a Construction Induction White CardHas a robust commitment to safety and following WHS proceduresHas a positive attitude and willingness to learnHas good communication and teamwork skillsHolds, or is willing to obtain, an AFP Police Check and Working with Children CheckWorking at Heights and EWP licences are advantageous
