Medical Receptionist – 12-Month Parental Leave CoverOceansPlus Medical Centre is seeking a professional and approachable Medical Receptionist to join our team for approximately 12 months while a team member is on parental leave.
This is a casual parental leave replacement position commencing in October ****, offering up to 20 hours per week across rostered weekday shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
From time to time, additional shifts may be offered to assist with staff absences or operational needs.
You will work as part of our reception team, providing day-to-day administrative support and helping patients with their enquiries and appointments.Key responsibilitiesWelcome patients and manage front receptionAnswer telephone enquiries and manage patient appointmentsProcess Medicare and private billingMaintain accurate and confidential patient informationRespond to patient enquiries professionally and respectfullyProvide general administrative support to doctors,



nurses and the practice teamAbout youHas strong customer service and communication skillsIs organised, reliable and able to work effectively in a busy environmentHas valuable attention to detail and administrative skillsUnderstands the importance of patient privacy and confidentialityWorks well independently and as part of a teamIs comfortable working with patients from diverse cultural and community backgroundsIs available to work rostered weekday shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pmPrevious medical reception or general practice experience is preferredExperience using Best Practice software will be highly regardedAbout usOceansPlus Medical Centre is a general practice located in Berrinba, Logan.
