This position is casual with the potential of going permanent after 3 months (Full time hours) - Immediate StartTFN / Casual - $40 - $45 per hour depending on REAL experience plus Superannuation and overtime rates.Experienced Forklift (16T) Container / Warehouse Operator wanted for an immediate start - problem solver & machine operator .

Unique business, secure company and outstanding Management TeamThe Role Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient receiving, storage and dispatch of cargo and goods within the warehouse.
Your duties will include:Complying with all applicable legislation including the Heavy Vehicle National Law, Occupational Health and Safety, Dangerous Goods and Biosecurity requirementsEnsuring correct and protected operation of equipment, including adherence to equipment compliance platesEnsuring correct manual handling techniques are used at all timesImmediately reporting all damages,



faulty equipment or incidents using approved methodsOperating a two-way radio device and a mobile data terminalRefuelling equipment following approved proceduresCompleting all appropriate documentation for tasks assigned, including receival and despatch tasksReceiving and storing cargo/goods into the appropriate areas of the warehouse or depotChecking temperature-controlled containers and connecting to powerAbout YouCurrent High Risk Work Licence with class LF - 16T Forklift / ContainersBiosecurity training - Awareness & Approved Arrangement Accredited Person highly regardedExperience operating a Forklift with various attachmentsExperience operating a Pallet Wrapper and Pallet ScaleExperience operating various handheld powered toolsExperience operating a Container Straddle Carrier (desired)Good numeracy and literacy skillsComputer skills to operate a mobile data terminalAbility to prioritise workload and work under pressure autonomously without direct supervisionFull Australian working rightsCommon Sense & a sense of humour will be highly regardedReliability & Attendance is valuedWhy Work for Us:Opportunity of Securing the Permanent Position - Great Salary / Great Overtime / Great TeamTemp to Perm after 3 monthsGreat working environment where you are valued.Autonomy in your work.
