As a multi-site medical receptionist, you will support our practices across Pimpama and Ormeau helping patients and working with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals to keep reception running smoothly.Your work location will vary according to operational needs.
You must be able to travel between our Pimpama and Ormeau practices and be flexible with your roster, including taking opening or closing shifts at short notice when required.
This role would suit an experienced medical receptionist who is organised, empathetic and confident working independently and as part of a team.Daily OperationsEnsure reception areas are organised, clean, and operating efficientlyCoordinate daily reception workflows, including opening and closing proceduresMonitor appointment books and assist with GP and nurse schedulingEnsure operational standard compliance as per company policyTroubleshoot patient booking and administrative issues throughout the dayMaintain a high standard of customer service for patients and visitorsAssist with managing difficult patient interactions and complaintsMaintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality standardsAssist with Medicare, billing, and patient account enquiriesAssist with Medicare billing and Assignment of Benefit (AOB) processesMonitor outstanding accounts, WorkCover, DVA and third-party billingAssist with daily banking, EFTPOS reconciliation, and debt recoveryEnsure referrals, recalls, reminders,
