In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and coordinating the administrative operations of our busy medical practice.
(Please note, there may also be the opportunity for a full time position across our Bowral and Gregory Hill sites)Key responsibilities include;Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended toScheduling appointments, handling enquiries and managing the patient booking systemProviding administrative support to the medical team, including filing, data entry and records managementHandling payments,



processing claims and maintaining accurate financial recordsAnswering and directing incoming phone calls in a friendly and skilled mannerMaintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient informationSuccessful candidates will require;Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the healthcare industryExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, colleagues and external stakeholdersStrong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyComputer literacy and proficiency in using medical practice management softwareA genuine passion for providing high-quality customer service and contributing to the overall success of the practiceMedical specialist reception experience is highly regardedAbout usThe Heart Group is a reputable and dynamic cardiology practice with rooms in Gregory Hills, Campbelltown and Bowral.
