Contract | 2 Days Per Week | Hybrid | Heatherton / Moorabbin, VICAbout the roleComfortel is looking for a Video Content Creator & Editor to join our Marketing and Brand team, working closely with our Creative Director to bring our products, campaigns and salon spaces to life through video.This is a hands on creative role for someone who loves being behind the camera as much as they enjoy editing.
You'll work from creative direction and campaign concepts with our Creative Director, helping turn ideas into polished video content across our Australian and international markets.This is a flexible two day per week contract role, with one day working from our Heatherton / Moorabbin Head Office required for filming and studio content.
This will generally be a Tuesday or Thursday depending on your preference, with flexibility to work remotely for the second day.Key responsibilitiesWork closely with our Creative Director to execute creative concepts, campaigns and content for our furniture collectionsPlan and coordinate shoots based on creative briefs and directionFilm and edit engaging video content for social media, websites, digital advertising and campaignsCreate short form content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels and other social platformsFilm product launches, furniture features, campaign content, how to videos, assembly and customer support contentEdit footage including colour correction, sound, graphics,



transitions and captionsAdapt video content into multiple formats and lengths for different platformsHelp organise and manage our growing library of video contentBring ideas and inspiration to the team while working within Comfortel's established brand and creative directionAbout youStrong video editing and videography skillsExperience creating social media and short form video contentConfidence filming products and showcasing their featuresExperience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing softwareA positive understanding of lighting, composition, audio and camera equipmentStrong visual judgement and attention to detailAn understanding of what makes content work across different social platformsThe ability to take creative direction while bringing your own creative judgement to filming and the final editThe ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesPhotography skills would be highly regardedExperience filming furniture, interiors, and products would be advantageousAbout usComfortel is an Australian owned salon furniture brand specialising in furniture and equipment designed for the hair and beauty salon industry.We design and manufacture our own salon furniture collections and sell to salons, designers and industry professionals across Australia and international markets.Our Marketing and Brand team works across product launches, campaigns, social media, digital advertising, websites, editorial, events and brand content, giving this role plenty of variety and plenty to shoot.
