At Care For You at Home, we are on a mission to ensure the safety, well-being, and independence of individuals in the comfort of their own homes.About the roleAs a Domestic Assistant, you'll help clients maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment, supporting their independence, dignity and wellbeing.You'll work across client homes, providing high-quality domestic assistance in line with individual care plans and our health, safety and quality standards.What you'll doProvide qualified domestic cleaning and household supportVacuum, mop, dust and clean kitchens, bathrooms and living areasComplete laundry, folding and clothing careAssist with minor meal preparationSafely use cleaning equipment, products and suppliesMaintain high standards of hygiene and infection controlFollow client care plans and WHS/manual handling requirementsComplete accurate service records, timesheets and client documentationIdentify and report hazards, risks or changes in the client environmentTravel between client homes safely and transport required equipmentBuild respectful, positive relationships with clients,



families and the wider care teamWhat you'll bringPrevious experience in domestic cleaning or community/home care.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.Current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.Working with Children Check.NDIS Worker Screening Check.Ability to exercise initiative and judgment where practice is not clearly defined.Completion of manual handling, infection control, and relevant training.Experience in aged care, disability or community supportKnowledge of My Aged Care and NDIS frameworksWhat we offer:Casual flexible hoursGenerous Salary Packaging Options – access up to $15,900 tax-free annually, plus $2,700 on a Meals and Entertainment CardAccess to our Employee Assistance Program for wellbeing supportOngoing professional learning and development opportunitiesIf successful, you will need to:Complete a National Police Check (and possibly an International Police Check).
