About the role n
Due to continued growth at our Dandenong South site, Chobani is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter – Services & Facilities to join our Maintenance team at Hammond Road.
n
You'll help ensure the protected, reliable and efficient operation of critical site utilities and infrastructure, including refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, water and wastewater systems, HVAC and building services.
n
The role includes planned and reactive maintenance, contractor coordination, MEX work-order management, and support for equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives. and facility upgrades.

You'll help ensure the safe,



reliable and efficient operation of critical site utilities and infrastructure, including refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, water and wastewater systems, HVAC and building services.

Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance n
n
n
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure all work complies with OH&S;, site and legislative requirements
n
n
Complete risk assessments, safety inspections and hazard identification activities
n
n
Follow critical safety procedures, including isolation and lockout/tagout, permit-to-work, confined-space and hot-work requirements
n
n
Support emergency response activities and ensure contractor compliance with site safety procedures
n
Utilities, Services & Facilities Maintenance n
n
n
Perform preventative, predictive and reactive maintenance across site utilities, services and infrastructure
n
n
Monitor and maintain refrigeration, boiler, compressed-air, water treatment and wastewater systems
n
n
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and utilities-related faults
n
n
Maintain HVAC, ventilation, chilled-water and general building services
n
n
Respond to leaks, equipment failures and other issues that could impact production, safety or GMP areas
n
n




Support production equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance when required
n
Contractor Management n
n
n
Coordinate and supervise external contractors across HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, wastewater and infrastructure works
n
n
Review SWMS, risk assessments and JSA documentation to ensure compliance with site requirements
n
n
Monitor work progress and verify that completed work meets safety, GMP and quality standards
n
Asset Management n
n
n
Create, update and close work orders using MEX or a similar CMMS
n
n
Maintain accurate asset histories, service records, failure information and preventative maintenance schedules
n
n
Identify reliability trends, recommend maintenance improvements and support critical spare-parts management
n
n
