About the role
n
Are you an experienced emergency nurse with a passion for education, clinical excellence and supporting others to grow?
n
We are seeking an enthusiastic Emergency Clinical Area Educator to provide hands-on clinical education, coaching and career development within our Emergency Department.
n
You will work alongside staff in the clinical environment to:
n
n
Provide clinical education, coaching and mentoring
n
Support orientation and transition of new and developing staff
n
Facilitate competency assessment and professional development
n
Promote evidence-based, safe and contemporary emergency nursing practice
n
Identify learning needs and provide responsive education at the point of care
n
Support a positive culture of learning, teamwork and continuous improvement
n
n

Located in Rushworth, Waranga Health is a 36-bed aged-care facility. The health service includes a four-bed acute care unit, a district nursing service, outpatient ambulatory consulting services and a dedicated palliative care suite and respite bed. Care and treatment are provided 24 hours a day by a talented multidisciplinary team working across a range of medical, nursing and allied health services.
