Job Description
Responsibilities n
n
Perform all welding procedures including machine settings, bottles, and necessary fittings
n
Set up and maintain welding machine (tip, liner, changes, etc.).
n
Welding aluminum and galvanized metal and welding vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
n
Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter.
n
Grind and clean areas where required.
n
Stay current in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed.
n
Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.
n
Qualifications n
n
Experience in GMAW (MIG) welding machines
n
Organizational skills
n
Ability to read blueprints
n
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
n
Able to work overtime as needed
