Here at

we are partnering with a company within the energy sector to source motivated and safety-focused Electrical Technicians. You will work under the guidance of the Lead Technician, contributing to the safe, efficient, and reliable operations of the site's solar infrastructure, and have a real impact on clean energy delivery.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on solar farm infrastructure and equipment
n
Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of systems and associated electrical components
n
Support safe operational procedures including high voltage switching under supervision
n
Work alongside contractors and internal teams to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld
n
Participate in after-hours on-call support as part of a rotating roster
n
Contribute to the accurate completion of work orders and maintenance documentation
n
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organised workshop environment
n
Help monitor inventory levels for tools, spare parts, and consumables
n
About You:
n
n
n
Trade qualification in electrical or equivalent technical training
n




Previous experience in renewable energy, power generation, or electrical maintenance is highly desirable
n
Strong understanding of safe work practices and a proactive approach to health and safety
n
Willingness to work in a team environment and support continuous improvement
n
Familiarity with maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo, Enablon) is an advantage
n
HV Electrical Switching certificate or ability to obtain
n
Working knowledge of installation, maintenance and instrumentation systems
n
