About the Role: n
We are currently seeking a Junior CAD Operator to join our team located at TMC's Melbourne facility in Brunswick.
n
Reporting to the Senior Draftsperson you will be responsible for design of cast resin and oil filled transformers as per the electrical and mechanical specifications.
n
This is a recent role and an exciting opportunity to join a team developing a new CAD process.
Key Responsibilities: n
n




Responsible for CAD design and drawing production:
n
Design of cast resin and oil filled transformers including the production of electrical and mechanical drawings. Implement new designs as per latest procedures and product requirements.
n
Deliver electrical systems documentation including drawings, schematics, bills of materials and document distribution for the factory.
n
Support the procurement in reviewing material specifications and identifying new suppliers. Inspection of all materials and services to be as per the specifications of the purchase order.
n
Collaborate with other teams throughout the manufacturing cycle.
n
Required Skills & Knowledge: n
n
One to three years of drafting experience in either a tertiary or professional capacity.
n
Experience producing designs for use in laser and CNC manufacture.
n
Knowledge of epoxy resin systems for impregnation and vacuum casting.
n
Knowledge of machines and factory environments.
n
Awareness of quality system ISO ****.
n
Experience using CAD and ERP systems in the manufacturing industry.
