This opportunity sits within the Business Advisory & Virtual CFO division, working closely with a diverse portfolio of business clients. You will play a key role in delivering management accounting services, supporting financial decision-making, and partnering with clients to improve systems, processes and performance outcomes.

The Role:

Manage management accounting and bookkeeping services across a portfolio of SME business clients
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Review payroll, BAS, IAS, PAYGW, payroll tax and superannuation obligations
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Prepare and review monthly management reports, reconciliations and end-of-year processes
n
n
n
n
n
n
n




Support clients with cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting and acquittals
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Assist with entity reporting including ACNC, audit and franchise reporting requirements
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Partner with clients to improve finance systems, processes and operational efficiency
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Respond to client queries and provide ongoing financial and advisory support
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Attend client sites as required to deliver hands-on support and insight
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Mentor and support junior team members within the division
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Contribute to continuous improvement across service delivery and client outcomes

About You:
n
n
n
n
n
Minimum 3+ years' experience in management accounting, bookkeeping or business services roles
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Strong understanding of payroll, BAS, IAS and compliance requirements
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Experience preparing and reviewing management reports and reconciliations
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Exposure to SME clients across multiple industries
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Strong client communication and relationship management skills
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management ability
n
n
n
n
n
n
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
