McArthur is recruiting a team of
Customer Service Officers and Team Leaders
for an upcoming transport-focused customer engagement project across
Wollongong and surrounding locations
.
n
You'll work as part of a
two-person street team
at busy public transport locations, helping customers with information, directions and wayfinding while providing a friendly, visible and professional presence on the ground.
n

The role n
Depending on your location and shift, you may be responsible for:
n
n
Welcoming and assisting customers
n
Providing directions, information and wayfinding support
n
Working closely with your street-team partner
n
Monitoring customer activity and identifying issues
n
Providing feedback from the field
n
Completing simple end-of-shift reporting
n
Escalating issues to Team Leaders and project management
n
Following project procedures, safety requirements and daily briefings
n
n
We also have opportunities for experienced
Team Leaders
, who will take on additional responsibility for communication, coordination, reporting and supporting teams across the project.
About you n

n
Comfortable speaking with members of the public
n
Calm and professional in busy environments
n
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a structured team
n
Flexible with locations and shift times
n
n
Experience in
customer service, events, hospitality, tourism, transport, retail, venues, concierge or other public-facing roles
would be highly regarded.
Availability n
The project is expected to run for approximately
one month
and will include a mix of:
n
n
Weekday shifts
n
Weekend work
n
Early morning starts
n
Multiple Wollongong and Illawarra locations
n
n
Candidates with strong availability across the project period will be highly regarded.
n
Project-specific training and operational briefings will be provided before deployment.
More than one project n
Strong performers may also have the opportunity to work across
future McArthur projects and events
, providing further casual work across customer service, transport and event operations.
