D&C; Nursing Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria.
This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressingProviding support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication remindersFacilitating social and recreational activities to enhance the wellbeing of our clientsMonitoring clients' health and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionalsMaintaining detailed client records and documentationAdhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and company policiesWhat we're looking forA Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in aged care or disability servicesSecond language such as Gujarati or other language would be excellent but not essentialPrevious experience working as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role,



preferably in a community or home-based setting which knows predominately with domestic assistance and community transportation ( Highly desirable )Working experience in residential care homeStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their familiesCompassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to careExcellent time management and organisational skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamCurrent First Aid and CPR certification & manual handlingA valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation ( A must)Weekend and weekday immediate availability will be highly desirableWhat we offerAt D&C; Nursing Care Pty Ltd, we are committed to supporting our employees and providing a rewarding work environment.
