Our birds are a much-loved and cherished part of our Sylvania Waters property, and we're looking for a caring, reliable and attentive person to help look after them and their feeding area.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys birds and takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for them. We're looking for someone who will approach the task with patience, kindness and genuine care, ensuring the bird feeder is kept clean, stocked and inviting.
n
Our feathered visitors are an important part of the property, and we value someone who will treat them with the same thoughtfulness and respect that we do. A gentle nature, reliability and an appreciation for wildlife would be highly valued.

The Role
n
You will be responsible for:
n
n
Feeding our Macaws and Australian parrots
n
Providing fresh water daily
n
Cleaning feeding and water areas
n
Checking the birds and their surroundings
n
Monitoring their general wellbeing
n
Keeping their aviaries and surroundings clean, secure and comfortable
n
About You n
We're looking for someone who:
n
n
Genuinely loves birds and animals
n
Is gentle, patient and dependable
n
Is comfortable around large parrots
n
Takes animal wellbeing seriously
n
Can commit to regular daily care,



including weekends and public holidays as required
n
n
Previous experience with Macaws, parrots, aviary birds or other animals is highly regarded, but a genuine love of birds, the right attitude and reliability are just as important.
n
This role would suit someone local to Sylvania Waters and surrounding areas who is looking for a rewarding ongoing position caring for some very special birds.
