About the business

Erina kindergarten is a family owned and operated long day care service. Located in a convenient bush setting in the heart of Erina. Our service is open 7:00am-6:00pm Monday - Friday. Closed on public holidays and closed over the Christmas and New Years Eve period.

We are seeking a motivated and handon kitchen personnel who are looking for a kitchen hand role 5 days per week Monday - Friday. Hours each day are perfect for a working mums and is from 8:30am-4:00pm.

About the role
n
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the general ongoing food
preparation/reheating,
serving food,heating bottles, washing dishes & general cleaning duties. The position involvesfollowing food safety guidelines and procedures at Erina kindergarten. Reporting directly to the centre management at Erina kindergarten. The successful applicant will be an energetic, dedicated strong team player, with the ability to follow food safety procedures and guidelines.

Skills and experience
n
Experience in food preparation and food safety and handling
n
Experience in working in a busy kitchen position
n
Experience in catering for children with dietary requirements and allergies
n
Possession of a current drivers licence
n
Ability to complete food audits and checklists in line with regulatory compliance
n
Current working with children's check
n
Must have a current first aid certificate
n
References from previous employers
n
Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
n
Current first aid certificate & CPR
n
Understanding safe food handling requirements demonstrated through previous kitchen hand experience
n
