Job Description
This is a varied, hands-on role assisting with funeral services and the respectful transfer of people into care. The position is available on a casual or part-time basis and may particularly suit someone who is semi-retired, looking for flexible work or seeking a rewarding role within a caring, professional setting.
Key responsibilities n
Assisting funeral directors with the preparation and conducting of funeral services.
n
Transferring deceased persons from hospitals, aged care facilities and private residences.
n
Driving and maintaining funeral vehicles.
n
Providing respectful and professional assistance to families.

Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

Takes pride in their personal presentation and maintains a neat, professional appearance.

Has a calm, respectful and practical approach to their work.

Is physically capable of assisting with transfers and other manual tasks.
n
Holds a current driver's licence.
n
Can work independently as well as part of a small, supportive team.
n
Has some flexibility to work occasional evenings, late nights and weekends when required.
