The Role n
Reporting to the Coordinator Town Planning, this position isresponsible for the assessment of Development Applications and associatedcustomer service functions, assists the Local Planning Panel in theirconsideration of Development Applications and provision of expert evidence inthe Land and Environment Court of NSW.

Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or arelated discipline
n
Relevant experience in the assessment ofdevelopment applications
n
Comprehensive knowledge of the
EnvironmentPlanning
& Assessment Act **** and Local Government Act **** and
associatedlegislation
and regulations as they relate to development assessment
n
Experience with complex and/or
contentiousdevelopments
is desirable
n
The right to live and workin Australia
n
Class C Drivers Licence
n
WHS General ConstructionWork in NSW
n
Working with ChildrenCheck (WWCC)
n
n
Successfulapplicants
will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medicaldeclaration
