Our client is a leading commercial laundry company looking for reliable and physically capable Factory Labourers to join their team in Footscray.
n
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited to candidates with experience in warehousing, factory, food production, manufacturing, laundry or general labouring environments.
Duties include: n
n
Sorting and handling linen and laundry
n
Placing linen and laundry into automated industrial ironing machines
n
Pulling longer sheets and linen from trolleys and feeding them into the machines
n
Hanging and positioning linen correctly for automated processing
n
Manual folding and handling of finished linen
n
Pushing and moving heavy linen trolleys
n
Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
n
To be successful: n
n
Previous experience in warehousing, factory,



food production, manufacturing, laundry or labouring is highly regarded
n
Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual work
n
Comfortable lifting, carrying and pushing heavy trolleys
n
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
n
Able to stand for long periods
n
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced, KPI-based production environment
n
Own car/licence or live within approximately 30 minutes of Footscray by public transport
n

$32–$33 per hour
n
Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm
n
